Rochester, NY group wins Fifth Gold!

 

Qarab's production of - "A Tribute" has just been awarded a 2010 AVA Gold by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

"We are truly honored to receive this recognition on Remembrance Day, the anniversary of  the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor." - E. A. Messenger, Author.

This is the third AVA Gold Award for the group. Their first production, "The Ark – a Musical" won the award in 2008.  They also received an AVA Gold in 2009 for – "A Quad of Snippets", DVD four pack of Educational Short Stories.

Qarab has also won a HERMES Gold for its production of "Creation DVD", and a MarCom Gold for the 21st Century "Prodigal Son DVD".

Qarab Music Director and spokesman James Schmitt said:  "Five for five!  Winning five gold awards with only five entries is an unbelievable accomplishment!  We're overwhelmed with gratitude!  The award is yet another complement to Rochester's bank of creative folks.  Thank you again to our loyal cast of very special people."

 "A Tribute" was produced with the artistic talents of Ron and Steve Ketchum, Ron Milko, Brian Swereda, and Tim McCarthy.  They teamed with the musical talents of James and Deborah Schmitt, Jennifer Neroni, Jeff Moon, Gregory Ludek, Brent Burkhardt, Joe Kusmierczak, Brook Hemry, Allyson Dixon, Nancy K. Fancher, Lance Anderson, Kara Minute, Pamela Revard, and Lance Duffy.  The result for the fifth time in five tries... National Gold Award Recognition for Rochester, New York!
